About Me
I am from Orlando, FL and currently attend Auburn University, where I am pursuing a degree in elementary education. I am super passionate about volleyball and hope to help others see how rewarding it can be.
Playing/Coaching Experience
I have been playing volleyball since I was 10 years old, and started competing at the club level at the age of 13. I played mostly as a middle and outside. I began coaching at the age of 14, helping with my middle school’s boys team and at my local rec center. I joined a club to coach at the age of 17, and still work summer camps there when I’m home. At AVA, I have primarily done baby bumpers and pre elite classes.
Motivation
I have always aimed to be a coach that I wished to have. Someone that supported me through everything, didn’t yell at me for trying new things, and helped me understand my intentions as a player was important. As a coach, I hope to encourage hustle, teach new skills, and find new ways to have fun. It’s important to me that these girls learn how to build confidence in their abilities and know they are always supported.
