Marissa Elio

Volleyball Coach

About me

My volleyball journey started at Beulah Highschool and later with Club Tsunami. My performance earned me a scholarship at Point University, where I played NAIA volleyball for 2 years as an outside hitter and then transferred to AUM to play NCAA Division 2 in the Gulf South Conference. I've played all over the court and this has helped develop my perception of the game on and off the court. I'm so excited to be able to be hands-on with the development of young athletes and hope to inspire and foster a love for the sport as my coaches over the years have done for me.

Enjoyment/Motivation

The determination, hustle, and mental barriers that you overcome as a player during those close games made me love the sport and continue to play recreationally and eventually led me into coaching.
